Turn Photos Into a Video — Online, in Minutes
Get started — upload your photos →You have photos, you want a video. The old way: learn video-editing software, or pay an editor and wait weeks. The MorphMovie way: upload your photos, and the system does the rest — usually within an hour you have an emotional video with music, ready for WhatsApp, Instagram or the big screen.
How is this different from a regular slideshow?
A regular slideshow swaps photos: photo, cut, photo. MorphMovie does something else — between every two consecutive photos, an AI clip is generated where the first photo flows and morphs into the second. People move, scenery shifts, and it all connects into one continuous film. That's the difference between "a set of photos" and "a story".
How to turn photos into a video (4 steps)
- Upload your photos — drag them into the browser, arrange the order by dragging (or let the system sort them by the date each photo was taken).
- Choose a style — portrait or landscape format, pacing, and optional captions on every clip.
- Add music — upload your own MP3, or let the system generate a soundtrack that matches the mood of your video (calm, upbeat, romantic).
- Approve and download — the price is shown upfront, and after you approve, the video is generated in the background and ready to download in Full HD.
Why MorphMovie instead of a regular video editor?
- No editing skills needed — no timeline, no layers. Upload, arrange, get your video.
- Real AI transitions — not a zoom-and-fade template, but a transition generated specifically for each pair of your photos.
- No subscription — pay once for the video you create. No monthly billing.
- Keeps faces true to life — we deliberately chose AI models that hold onto identity and facial likeness across the transition. Works best when faces are large and clear in the photo; the app tells you when two photos may not morph well.
- Old photo restoration — a one-tap option on each photo to sharpen a blurry shot or add color to a black-and-white one, as a paid extra charged per photo you turn it on for.
What can you add to the video?
- Music — your own MP3, or a soundtrack generated automatically
- Captions — one line per clip, synced to your photos
- Narration — record it in your own voice, or write text and have the system read it aloud
- Old photo restoration — sharpen a blurry photo or colorize a black-and-white one, one tap per photo, as a paid extra
- Opening title — a name for your video shown at the start
How to choose photos that morph well
The transition is generated between two consecutive photos, so your video quality depends less on each photo alone and more on how neighbours relate:
- Sharpness first — a blurry photo stays blurry in the video. If it matters to you, turn on restoration for it.
- Faces you can see — the larger and clearer a face is in the frame, the better identity is preserved. A small, distant person gives a looser morph.
- Related neighbours — two consecutive photos that share something visually (same person, similar background, similar camera distance) morph smoothly. A jump from a beach to a living room looks like a jump.
- Similar head counts — morphing from one person to a large group is the hardest case. If you need it, put a bridging photo between them.
- One orientation — if most photos are portrait, choose a portrait video. A landscape photo inside a portrait video gets blurred bars at the sides.
How long will my video be?
Every two consecutive photos make one transition, and each transition runs about five seconds by default — so the number of transitions is always your photo count minus one.
- 6 photos — 5 transitions, about 25 seconds
- 10 photos — 9 transitions, about 45 seconds
- 15 photos — 14 transitions, about 1:15
- 20 photos — 19 transitions, about 1:45
- 30 photos — 29 transitions, about 2:30
Why it matters: a video sent on WhatsApp gets watched to the end mainly when it is short — up to about a minute. A venue screening holds an audience for about two minutes, and a video watched at home with family can be as long as you like.
Frequently asked questions
How many photos can I upload?
You can upload up to 120 photos, and you are billed for the exact number you upload rather than a fixed package. 6-15 photos usually gives the best result: enough to tell a story without the video running too long.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of photos and the choices you make in the video (narration, photo restoration, looping) — typically $8–$20 for a video. The exact price is shown before you pay. See pricing →
Does it work on my phone?
Yes — the whole process works from a mobile browser, no app to install.
Which photos work best?
Sharp, well-lit photos work best, and consecutive photos ideally show something in common (the same person or a similar background) so the transition flows naturally. There's a full tips screen built into the app.
What about photo privacy?
Your photos are only used to create your video and are automatically deleted within 7 days. The finished video is also available to download for 7 days, then removed.
What if one transition does not come out well?
Before the video is assembled you see every transition on its own, and you can regenerate any of them. Even after the video is finished you can go back and replace a single transition without starting over.
Portrait or landscape?
You choose at the start. Portrait (9:16) for WhatsApp, stories and phones; landscape (16:9) for a screen or TV; square (1:1) is also available. Some models support 16:9 only, and the app tells you when that applies.
